Thank you for your interest in the Rotary Club of New Tampa Evening. The process for application and induction into our Club is: 

1. Secure the current version of the Rotary Club of New Tampa Evening application from the membership chair via e-mail or visit the Club website. 

2. The application is in a PDF file, so please print the application form, complete it and mail it to the above address. 

3. Please have BOTH you and your sponsor sign the application. If you need a sponsor, see or contact the membership chair. 

4. Please submit your completed application, a resume (or CV or Bio) along with a non-refundable application fee of $50.00 to either the membership chair or Club secretary. 

5. The next step is the presentation of your application at our next monthly board meeting, which is the first Thursday of the month. If approved, the next step is a "Rotary Fireside". The fireside is cordial meeting in one of our member's homes where you learn about Rotary International and our local Club. You will also learn what is expected of you as a member of our Club. Spouses/significant others are urged to attend the fireside with you (along with the sponsors).

6. If you choose to continue the process after attending the fireside, there is a two- week period where current members have the right to object to your proposed induction. 

7. If there is an objection, it will be resolved either through discussion or more formally, through a board decision. 

8. After the two week period with no objection, you will be inducted into the Club as a "Red Badge" member. You are expected to do the tasks to work your way up to a "Blue Badge" within six months. You will learn about these tasks via the "Proposed Member Fireside Commitment and Red to Blue Badge Worksheet" you sign at the fireside.
